I'm looking to add a GH secretagogue for body composition (lose some stubborn belly fat, improve recovery from surfing and gym sessions). Mito Labs has both combos:

  • CJC-1295/Ipamorelin 10mg
  • Tesamorelin/Ipamorelin 13mg

I know Tesamorelin is more targeted for visceral fat reduction but it's also pricier. Has anyone tried both? Which gave you better results?

I'm 32, pretty lean already (maybe 15% BF), mainly interested in the recovery and sleep benefits too.

I've done both. CJC/Ipa is great for overall GH support — better sleep, recovery, and slow body composition improvements. Tesamorelin is definitely more targeted for abdominal fat. If you're already lean at 15%, honestly CJC/Ipa is probably all you need and the sleep benefits alone are worth it.

For your goals (recovery + sleep + modest recomp), CJC/Ipa is the move. Pin 300mcg before bed on an empty stomach. The deep sleep you'll get is incredible — most people notice it within the first week.

Running CJC/Ipa right now alongside BPC for my knee. The sleep improvement is real — I'm getting 8+ hours consistently for the first time in years. Body composition changes are subtle but I'm leaning out without changing my diet.

Hey James!

You've got some great feedback from the community already. It sounds like you're on the right track considering both options for your goals. Given that you're already pretty lean and looking for recovery and sleep benefits, the CJC-1295/Ipamorelin combo might be just what you need. As Sarah and Dan mentioned, it offers solid GH support along with noticeable improvements in sleep quality, which could really help with the recovery aspect, especially after your surfing and gym sessions.

The Tesamorelin/Ipamorelin combo is indeed more targeted for visceral fat reduction, so it might be more than you need if belly fat isn't your primary concern. Plus, given the price difference, the CJC/Ipa could be a more cost-effective way to reach your goals.

Always keep dosage and timing in mind for the best results. Like Dan suggested, taking around 300mcg before bed on an empty stomach can help maximize the benefits. We suggest starting low and monitoring your body's response. If you have any other questions or experiences to share, we're all ears!
