First time with peptides? Start here — my recommended beginner guide

I get this question almost daily so I'm putting together my standard advice for peptide beginners. Step 1: Pick ONE goal Don't try to solve everything at once. Pick your primary goal: - Injury recovery → BPC-157 or Wolverine Stack - Fat loss → Tirzepatide or AOD9604 - Sleep/recovery → CJC/Ipamorelin - Skin/anti-aging → GHK-Cu - Immune support → Thymosin Alpha-1 - Focus/anxiety → Semax or Selank Step 2: Learn to reconstitute It's easier than it sounds. BAC water + insulin syringe. There are great videos out there. Mito Labs also has instructions with every order. Step 3: Start with one peptide Don't stack 5 things on day one. Run one peptide for 4-6 weeks, assess results, then consider adding a second. Step 4: Be consistent Peptides aren't magic pills. They work through consistent dosing over weeks. Skipping days reduces effectiveness. Step 5: Track your results Take photos. Write notes. Track sleep with a wearable if you have one. You'll forget how you felt at the start if you don't document. Common mistakes: - Overdosing (start low, increase gradually) - Not refrigerating reconstituted peptides - Eating within 2 hours of GH peptides (blunts the response) - Giving up after 1 week (most peptides need 2-4 weeks to show results) - Buying too many peptides at once and not knowing what's working Feel free to ask questions below. No such thing as a dumb question when you're learning.

Welcome! Start here — FAQ & dosing basics

Hey everyone, welcome to the Mito Labs community! A few things that come up a lot: How do I store my peptides? Keep them refrigerated (2-8°C) once reconstituted. Lyophilized (powder) vials are stable at room temperature but fridge is still best. How do I reconstitute? Use bacteriostatic water (BAC water). Inject slowly down the side of the vial, don't spray directly onto the powder. Gently swirl — never shake. Where do I inject? Subcutaneous (under the skin) — belly fat or thigh are the most common spots. Rotate injection sites. How long until I see results? Depends on the peptide. BPC-157 for injuries, many people notice improvement within 1-2 weeks. GH peptides like CJC/Ipamorelin, give it 4-6 weeks for body composition changes. Feel free to ask anything — that's what this community is for.

My stack for skin and joint health after years in physio — here's what I'm using

Running a stack focused on skin and joint health has become a game-changer in my routine since transitioning from physio to managing a wellness retreat in Uluwatu. Here’s what I’m currently using and why I chose these peptides. CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin I’ve included CJC-1295 with Ipamorelin in my regimen because of their synergistic effects on GH release. This combination amplifies growth hormone pulses, which has been vital for recovery and overall vitality. Research suggests that this pairing supports better sleep architecture, which I’ve noticed in my own deep sleep cycles. I follow a standard research-aligned protocol with this, administering it twice weekly. BPC-157 I’m also using BPC-157, primarily for its tissue repair benefits. In my experience, its effects on joint recovery have been remarkable. It’s been backed by preclinical studies showing its role in tendon and ligament repair, which aligns perfectly with my focus on recovery for both myself and my retreat clients. I integrate this peptide into my routine with a similar twice-weekly approach, allowing for optimal absorption and impact. Combining these peptides has noticeably improved my joint mobility and skin elasticity. My clients have also started noticing the benefits. Mito Labs has been a reliable supplier for these compounds, making the process straightforward for my wellness practices.

Ran CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin vs TB-500 for 12 weeks: Here’s how they compare

I just wrapped up a 12-week cycle combining CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin and TB-500, and the differences are pretty clear. CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin 10mg This combo really hit my recovery and sleep hard. I noticed deeper sleep with a more structured sleep cycle, which is huge for me as a surfer and fitness coach. The increase in growth hormone pulses seemed to amplify my muscle recovery post-sessions. I felt stronger gains in the gym and less soreness after intense workouts. My appetite was also up, which is great for bulking but could be a double-edged sword if you’re trying to cut. TB-500 10mg On the flip side, TB-500 was fantastic for overall recovery—especially with joint stiffness. I was dealing with some nagging shoulder pain, and I noticed significant improvements in mobility and flexibility. It felt like my body was healing from the inside out, and any lingering injuries from surfing were much less bothersome. I also felt less inflammation after long sessions on the waves. Recommendation If you’re focused on muscle growth and recovery, go with CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin. But if you’re prioritizing joint health and systemic recovery, TB-500 is where it’s at. Both have their place, but you’ll want to choose based on your specific goals. I sourced my peptides from Mito Labs, and their quality’s been solid throughout my cycles. Overall, both peptides have value, just in different ways. Choose your path wisely!

8 Weeks on Tirzepatide: Lost 5kg, Body Fat Down 3%, My Thoughts

Ran an 8-week cycle of Tirzepatide recently, and I want to share my results. I started at 85kg and now I'm down to 80kg, which puts me at about a 5kg loss. Body fat percentage dropped from around 22% to 19%. Given my background as a personal trainer, I was really curious about how this would affect my metabolic health. What worked for me was the appetite suppression—seriously, I saw a significant reduction in cravings. This made it easier to stick to my nutrition plan without feeling deprived. I also noticed I was sleeping about 7-8 hours a night, which is solid for me, and recovery times from workouts improved noticeably. I felt less sore after intense sessions, which I attribute to better overall metabolic function. On the downside, there were some days where I felt a bit sluggish, likely from the initial adjustment period. I wouldn’t recommend jumping into this without considering your full health context and ideally working with a coach or a health professional. I’ve used Mito Labs as my supplier, and the process was smooth. Overall, I’d recommend Tirzepatide if you're looking for a little extra help in your metabolic journey, but it’s not a magic bullet. It’s about supporting your hard work, not replacing it.

My anti-aging stack: MOTS-C and BPC-157 for optimal longevity

I’ve been freediving for over a decade and teaching breathwork, so I’m always looking for ways to optimize my health and extend my longevity. My current stack focuses on two peptides: MOTS-C and BPC-157, both of which complement each other nicely. MOTS-C I’ve been running MOTS-C as part of my regimen for about 3 months now. This peptide mimics the benefits of aerobic exercise at a cellular level by activating AMPK, which helps with fat metabolism and improves insulin sensitivity. I've noticed a consistent energy boost during my breathwork and dives, which might be linked to its ability to enhance metabolic flexibility. I’m taking it as a standard research-aligned protocol twice weekly, allowing me to maintain my physical performance while aging gracefully. BPC-157 Alongside that, I started using BPC-157 three months ago. Known for its tissue repair capabilities, it’s been a game-changer for my recovery after intensive training sessions. The research on its effects on angiogenesis and inflammation caught my attention, especially since I push my body hard with diving and breath-holding exercises. I also administer it twice weekly, which aligns perfectly with my training cycles. In short, using both MOTS-C and BPC-157 has kept my energy levels high and my recovery swift, making them staples in my anti-aging strategy. Mito Labs has been my go-to source for these peptides, and I’d highly recommend them for anyone looking to enhance their longevity.

After 10 weeks of GHK-Cu vs. Epithalon: My side-by-side results

I ran a cycle of GHK-Cu 100mg alongside Epithalon 50mg for 10 weeks. Here’s what I noticed. GHK-Cu had a profound impact on my skin — noticeable improvements in elasticity and hydration. I’m talking about a glow that’s hard to fake. Additionally, I felt my recovery time after workouts significantly shortened, likely due to its tissue remodeling properties. I also noticed some subtle cognitive clarity, possibly stemming from the gene modulation aspect. On the flip side, Epithalon provided a different set of benefits. I found my sleep patterns improved, with deeper, more restorative sleep becoming the norm. Plus, there was a notable increase in my overall energy throughout the day, which I attribute to its effects on circadian rhythms and telomere support. However, I didn’t experience the same skin benefits that GHK-Cu provided. Recommendation: If you’re aiming for skin rejuvenation and faster recovery, go with GHK-Cu. But if you’re looking for enhanced sleep quality and energy, Epithalon might be the better fit. Both have their merits, so it depends on your specific goals. I sourced both from Mito Labs and had a smooth experience with their products.

Ran Glutathione 1500mg vs Epithalon 50mg: Here’s What I Noticed

I recently wrapped up a comparative run of Glutathione 1500mg and Epithalon 50mg over the past 12 weeks, and I want to share my personal observations for anyone considering these peptides. Both have unique properties that cater to different wellness goals. Glutathione 1500mg: My primary aim was to boost my antioxidant levels and support cellular health. I noticed a marked improvement in my skin clarity and energy levels. I felt more resilient during stressful days at my retreat, and my recovery from workouts seemed to speed up. For those dealing with oxidative stress or seeking an anti-aging boost, this one's effective. Epithalon 50mg: I turned to Epithalon with curiosity about its potential effects on longevity and telomere support. The most noticeable change was my sleep quality; it improved significantly, and I felt more rested upon waking. My overall mood and focus also had a positive shift, which I found beneficial during busy retreat sessions. Recommendation: If your goal is immediate antioxidant support and skin health, I'd lean toward Glutathione. However, if you’re more interested in long-term benefits and improved sleep quality, Epithalon could be the way to go. Each peptide brings something unique to the table, so it really depends on what you're looking to achieve in your wellness journey. I sourced both from Mito Labs, and overall, I’ve been pleased with the quality.

After a cold chain failure, here's why I'm sticking with Mito Labs for peptides

Last year, I ordered a batch of CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin from another supplier and it was a headache I won’t forget. The delivery took longer than expected and when it finally arrived, the ice packs were completely melted. I was skeptical but went ahead, thinking it might still be fine. Spoiler: it wasn’t. I didn't feel the expected improvements in my sleep architecture or recovery, and it was a waste of time and money. Now that I've moved to Bali, I switched to Mito Labs and the difference is night and day. They prioritize cold chain logistics in a way that gives me peace of mind. Each order comes with robust insulation and ice packs that stay frozen throughout transit. They even schedule deliveries to ensure they arrive within a two-hour window, which is crucial in this tropical climate. I’m now running a standard research-aligned protocol with the CJC-Ipamorelin combo and finally seeing the results I expect—improved sleep quality and better recovery after workouts. Mito Labs has set the bar high with their attention to detail. I won't be looking back anytime soon.

After 3 years in Bali, Mito Labs stands out among local suppliers

I've been sourcing peptides for my practice as a naturopath over the past three years in Bali, and I've tried several local suppliers. My experience with Mito Labs has consistently been superior, especially when it comes to quality and reliability. One of the biggest factors for me is the verification of Certificates of Analysis (CoA). With Mito Labs, I can easily access CoAs for each batch, providing peace of mind about the purity and composition of the product. In contrast, I've had some frustrating experiences with local competitors where CoAs were absent or hard to obtain. Cold chain logistics are another crucial element. Mito Labs has impeccable shipping practices; their products arrive well-packaged and temperature-controlled, which is vital for maintaining peptide integrity. I can’t say the same for other suppliers I've encountered here. The packaging from Mito Labs is also top-notch, ensuring that the vials arrive undamaged and ready for immediate use. Lastly, their customer service is responsive and knowledgeable. Whenever I've had a question or needed assistance, they’ve been quick to reply, which isn't always the case with other local suppliers. For peptides like Selank, which I've been using to support cognitive function and mood, quality and reliability are non-negotiable. Mito Labs consistently delivers.

What I Wish I Knew Before Starting Wolverine Stack 20mg for Recovery

Ran a 10-week cycle of the Wolverine Stack 20mg. Here’s what I wish I’d known before diving in: - Onset Time: I noticed the effects ramping up around the 3rd week. Don’t expect instant magic; it builds up in your system. - Side Effects: Experienced some mild fatigue in the first week, but it passed. Skin sensitivity was noticeable, especially when training hard. Just be aware. - Dosing Patterns: I went with a standard research-aligned protocol, running it twice a week. Consistency was key for me. - Stacking: I found that combining it with a quality collagen supplement really enhanced my recovery—definitely felt the difference in joint comfort! - Application Focus: I focused on areas that were previously injured. Felt like BPC-157 really zoned in on those spots while TB-500 did the systemic heavy lifting. Overall, the Wolverine Stack was a solid addition to my regimen. My recovery felt noticeably quicker, especially after intense training sessions. Just pacing and knowing what to expect made a big difference in my experience.

Traveling with GHK-Cu in Bali: Lessons Learned from My 3-Month Stay

I spent the last three months in Bali, traveling between villas and hotels, while trying to keep my GHK-Cu stable and effective. It's been a bit of a learning curve, and I want to share what I've picked up about managing peptides on the move. First off, the cold chain is crucial. I carried my GHK-Cu in a small cooler with ice packs. At first, I was worried about the temperature fluctuation, but I found that I could maintain stability for a full day of travel, as long as I planned ahead. In Bali, it’s hot, and room temperature can definitely impact the peptide, so I recommend checking the cooler often. Customs can be tricky. I was questioned during check-in about what I was carrying, so I made sure to keep everything in its original packaging with labels intact. Having a clear explanation ready helped smooth out any concerns. When switching cities, I utilized the in-room fridge at each villa, but not all of them have reliable temperatures. I’d advise checking temperature settings and using a thermometer if necessary. A bit of extra preparation goes a long way to ensure your peptides stay effective while you enjoy the island. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I’d recommend anyone traveling with peptides to stay vigilant but also to enjoy the journey. Mito Labs was my go-to for sourcing GHK-Cu here in Bali, which made it easier to keep my supply stocked too.

After 6 months, Mito Labs beats other Bali suppliers for CJC/IPAM

Having spent over a decade in high-performance sports and now coaching CrossFit in Seminyak, I've tried my fair share of peptide suppliers in Bali. After 6 months with Mito Labs, I can confidently say they outperform the others I’ve worked with. First off, the Certificate of Analysis (CoA) verification is top-notch. I’ve had batches from other local suppliers that felt sketchy at best. Mito Labs provides clear CoAs, which gives me peace of mind about the quality and potency of the CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin I’m using. The cold chain process is another area where Mito Labs stands out. I’ve received shipments from other suppliers that were warm upon arrival, raising serious questions about stability and efficacy. Mito Labs packs everything properly, ensuring that each vial arrives at the right temperature, preserving its integrity. Packaging is also solid. Their vials are well-sealed and labeled, making it easy to store and use without any hassles. Plus, their response times are lightning-fast. I’ve sent inquiries to other suppliers and waited days for a reply, while Mito Labs gets back to me within hours. Overall, my experience with CJC-Ipamorelin from Mito Labs has been a game-changer for my recovery protocols, and I’m sticking with them for the long haul. When it comes to quality, transparency, and service, Mito Labs is in a league of its own.

Traveling with Peptides in Bali: 6 Tips from My Experience

I just wrapped up a month of traveling across Bali with peptides, specifically Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin. Here’s what worked for me and what to keep in mind: Cold Chain Management: I used a small cooler with ice packs to keep my peptides chilled, especially during long flights. It’s critical to maintain that cold chain when traveling, or you risk losing efficacy. Customs and Regulations: Before I left, I did some research on Indonesian customs. I didn’t have any issues, but I recommend carrying documentation showing it’s for personal use and not for resale. Having clear labeling on the vials helped too. Storage at Accommodations: Most villas and hotels I've stayed in had mini-fridges, which worked perfectly. I always double-checked the fridge’s temperature – some are warmer than you’d expect. If you’re staying in more rustic places, consider bringing a portable cooler. Transferring Between Cities: I found that traveling within Bali meant checking in and out of different accommodations regularly. Each time, I made sure to pack my peptides last in my bag for easy access. A little extra planning went a long way. Local Options: Just a heads-up – while it’s tempting to look for local suppliers, I stuck with Mito Labs for consistency. I know their quality and it kept my peace of mind. Overall, managing peptides while traveling isn’t overly complicated, but it does need some attention to detail. If you’re on the go, staying organized is key.

What I Wish I'd Known Before Starting Selank 10mg: Key Lessons from My First Cycle

Ran a 6-week cycle of Selank 10mg. Here’s what I’ve learned along the way: - Onset Time: I noticed effects kicking in around the 1-hour mark. My mood felt notably lighter and more focused. It wasn’t an overwhelming change, but definitely a shift in how I tackled my tasks. - Side Effects: Initially, I experienced some mild headaches, but they faded after the first week. The most significant change was an increase in my energy levels and motivation, which was a nice surprise. - Dosing Patterns: I started with a standard research-aligned protocol. Sticking to a consistent schedule definitely helped maintain the benefits. - Stacking: I found that combining Selank with L-theanine worked well for me — enhanced focus without the jitters. I also tried it with a low dose of a nootropic, which amplified my productivity during coding sessions. Overall, Selank has been a solid addition to my routine. If you’re considering it, be prepared for a subtle but impactful boost in your daily cognition and mood. Mito Labs was my go-to supplier for this cycle, and their service was reliable.

IGF-LR3 for muscle growth — who's used it and what protocol?

I'm looking into IGF-LR3 as an addition to my recovery/performance stack. From what I understand it's one of the more potent peptides for muscle hypertrophy and recovery. A few things I want to clarify: - Is it dosed in mcg not mg? The 1mg vial seems like it should last a while - Best protocol for someone who trains hard but isn't a bodybuilder? - Can it be stacked with CJC/Ipamorelin or would that be overkill on the GH axis? - Is there any truth to the concerns about it affecting blood sugar? I'm 34, 88kg, train CrossFit 5x/week. Main goal is recovery and lean mass. Not trying to get huge, just want to perform better and recover faster.

Ordered at 10pm, delivered by 9am — these guys don't mess around

Ran out of BPC mid-protocol (my fault for not reordering sooner). Messaged Mito Labs on WhatsApp at 10pm on a Tuesday, fully expecting to wait until the next afternoon. They confirmed the order within 15 minutes and a rider was at my place in Ubud by 9am Wednesday morning. Cold-packed, properly labeled, with a little info card about the product. I've lived in Bali 6 years and this level of service is rare for anything, let alone specialty health products. The fact that they stock everything locally (no waiting for international shipping) is a massive advantage. Also appreciate that they don't oversell or make medical claims. Just quality products with good information.

AOD9604 vs Tirzepatide for fat loss — different mechanisms?

I'm trying to understand the difference between AOD9604 and GLP-1 agonists like Tirzepatide for fat loss. From my research: - AOD9604 = fragment of human growth hormone, targets fat cells directly - Tirzepatide = GLP-1/GIP agonist, works through appetite suppression and insulin So they work completely differently? Could you theoretically stack them? I'm leaning towards AOD9604 because I don't want appetite suppression — I actually enjoy eating and I'm quite active. I just have stubborn lower belly fat that won't budge. Anyone used AOD9604 on its own for targeted fat loss? Results?

Women and peptides — what I wish I knew before starting

There's a lot of info online about peptides but almost all of it is written by and for men. As a woman who's been using peptides for about 6 months, here's what I've learned: Dosing is different. Most protocols online are for 80-100kg men. At 58kg I typically use 50-60% of the commonly recommended dose and get full effects. Start lower than you think. Menstrual cycle matters. Some peptides (especially GH secretagogues) can affect your cycle timing. Not dangerously, but worth tracking. My cycle shifted by 3 days when I started CJC/Ipa. Skin benefits are usually faster. Women tend to notice GHK-Cu and glutathione skin improvements faster than men (possibly because we're paying more attention, or hormonal differences in collagen). Weight loss peptides work slightly differently. Tirzepatide appetite suppression hit me harder than the men I know using it. Had to be very careful about eating enough protein. What works great for women: - GHK-Cu for skin and hair - Glutathione for skin brightening - BPC-157 for joint health (especially if you do yoga/Pilates) - Selank for hormonal anxiety - CJC/Ipa for sleep (lower dose than men) Would love to hear from other women in this community about their experiences.

VIP peptide for gut health and IBS — an underrated option

Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide (VIP) doesn't get enough attention in the peptide community. Most people jump straight to BPC-157 for gut issues, but VIP works through completely different mechanisms. VIP is naturally produced in your gut and nervous system. It: - Regulates intestinal motility - Reduces inflammation in the gut lining - Modulates the gut-brain axis - Supports healthy gut barrier function I've been using it with clients who have IBS, SIBO, and chronic gut inflammation — often after BPC-157 alone wasn't enough. Protocol I recommend: - 50mcg subQ daily, building up to 100mcg over 2 weeks - Run for 4-6 weeks - Can be stacked with BPC-157 for a comprehensive gut protocol The research on VIP is extensive but it's mostly in academic journals so it flies under the radar of the biohacking community. Happy to discuss if anyone has questions.

Blood work markers to track on peptides — my monitoring protocol

I recommend all my clients get baseline blood work before starting any peptide protocol. Here's what I check and why: Essential (everyone): - Fasting glucose + HbA1c (especially if using GH peptides or GLP-1 agonists) - Liver panel (ALT, AST, GGT) - Kidney function (creatinine, eGFR) - CBC (complete blood count) If using GH peptides (CJC, Tesamorelin): - IGF-1 (measures growth hormone output) - Fasting insulin If using weight loss peptides (Tirzepatide, Retatrutide): - Lipid panel (total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides) - Thyroid panel (TSH, free T4) If using anti-aging peptides (Epithalon, NAD+): - Inflammatory markers (hsCRP, ESR) - Vitamin D (often low in Bali expats despite the sun) Frequency: Baseline before starting, then every 8-12 weeks while on peptides. Prolab in Denpasar does comprehensive panels for reasonable prices. DM me if you want the specific panel codes I order. Tracking blood work takes peptide use from "I feel better" to "I can prove it's working and it's safe." Worth the effort.

Why I switched all my clients to Mito Labs — a practitioner's perspective

I've been practicing functional medicine for 8 years and recommending peptides for the last 3. I've tried multiple suppliers across Asia and I want to share why Mito Labs is now my exclusive recommendation. Testing: They provide certificates of analysis. Not all suppliers do, and of those that do, not all are legitimate. I've had Mito Labs' BPC-157 and GHK-Cu independently tested — both came back at stated purity (>98%). Cold chain: This matters enormously in Bali's climate. Every delivery arrives with ice packs in insulated packaging. I've received orders from other suppliers that arrived warm. Peptides degrade in heat. Consistency: In 6 months of ordering, not a single vial has been underfilled, mislabeled, or compromised. The reconstitution is always clean with no particulates. Range: 28 products means I can build comprehensive protocols without sourcing from multiple suppliers. Service: They respond on WhatsApp within hours. One time I had a question about stacking and they connected me with someone knowledgeable who actually understood the pharmacology. I'm not being paid to say this. As a practitioner, product quality is my reputation. I need to trust what I'm giving clients.
