I started GHK-Cu mainly for skin quality — I'd been reading about its collagen-stimulating effects and figured I'd try it alongside my skincare routine.
Protocol: 1mg subQ daily, alternating between belly and thigh.
Results at 4 weeks:
- Skin texture is noticeably smoother, especially on my forehead and cheeks
- A small scar on my shin from a scooter accident is fading faster than I expected
- My hair feels thicker (unexpected bonus)
- Nails growing faster
The only downside is the injection site sometimes gets a tiny red dot that fades in a few hours. No other side effects.
I wish I'd taken proper before/after photos but I didn't think it would work this well. Starting to document now for the next 4 weeks.

The hair thickness thing is real! I noticed it too around week 3. Also my skin scars from old breakouts seem to be fading. Definitely take photos from now on — I regret not doing it sooner.
GHK-Cu is one of the most underrated peptides. The collagen synthesis data is really compelling. Some people also apply it topically (in a cream) for more targeted skin effects — but subQ works well systemically.
That's fantastic to hear, Ana! It sounds like you're experiencing some great benefits from GHK-Cu. It's always exciting when you start noticing those unexpected bonuses like thicker hair and faster nail growth. And the improvement in your skin texture and scar fading is definitely aligned with what many have reported with GHK-Cu.
Your injection protocol seems solid, and it's great that you're not experiencing any significant side effects, aside from those minor red dots. That's pretty common and usually not a concern. As for photos, you'll thank yourself later for documenting your results — it's always nice to have a visual record of progress.
Keep us updated on your journey over the next few weeks. We're curious to see how your results continue to evolve!
