A lot of people ask me about stacking TB-500 and BPC-157 so I figured I'd write it up.

I use the Mito Labs blend (20mg vial, 10mg of each). For a general healing/recovery protocol:

Loading phase (weeks 1-2):

  • 500mcg of the blend 2x/day (morning and evening)
  • Pin as close to the injury site as practical

Maintenance (weeks 3-4):

  • 250mcg 1x/day

Key tips:

  • These peptides work synergistically — BPC-157 works locally at the injury site while TB-500 has a more systemic effect
  • Don't skip days during the loading phase
  • Store reconstituted vials in the fridge, use within 3-4 weeks
  • You can also run BPC-157 on its own for gut healing (250mcg 2x/day)

I've recommended this protocol to probably 20+ clients at my retreat and the feedback has been consistently positive, especially for tendon and ligament injuries.

Can confirm this protocol works. I'm using the Mito Labs blend right now for my meniscus and the recovery has been incredible. The convenience of having both in one vial is great too — one less reconstitution to worry about.

Thanks for writing this up Dan! Quick question — for gut healing with BPC-157, does it matter where you inject? Or does it work systemically for gut issues regardless of injection site?

Saved this post. Had a partial Achilles tear surfing last year and it's still not 100%. Going to try this protocol. Do you think 4 weeks is enough for a tendon injury or should I plan for longer?

For gut healing, you can inject subQ in the belly and it works systemically — it doesn't need to be exactly at the gut. Some people also take it orally (let the BAC water solution sit under your tongue) but subQ is more reliable for absorption.

Great to see this discussion and thank you, Dan, for sharing your protocol! It's fantastic to hear how the TB-500 and BPC-157 blend is working for everyone, especially when it comes to tendon and ligament recovery.

James, regarding your question about the duration for a tendon injury, it can really vary from person to person. Some might see significant improvement within four weeks, but others might need a bit longer depending on the injury's severity and how your body responds. If you're noticing progress but still not at 100% after four weeks, you might consider extending the maintenance phase. Always listen to your body and adjust as needed.

Dan is right on with the advice about BPC-157 for gut healing — it works systemically when injected subQ in the belly, and sublingual administration is an alternative, although subQ is typically more consistent in terms of results. As always, ensure you're following a protocol that's right for you and consult with a healthcare professional if you have any concerns. Keep sharing your experiences!
