Interested in trying PT-141 but the information online is all over the place. Some people say it's incredible, others say the side effects aren't worth it.

Questions:

  • What dose do you start with? I've seen anywhere from 0.5mg to 2mg
  • How far in advance do you take it? Some sources say 2 hours, others say 4-6 hours
  • Is nausea really that bad or are people overdoing the dose?
  • Does it work for both men and women? My partner is curious too
  • How many uses do you get from a 10mg vial?

Start at 1mg, not 2mg. Most side effects people complain about are from overdosing. Take it 3-4 hours before — it takes a while to kick in but the effects last 12-24+ hours. Mild nausea is common for about 30 mins but goes away. Works for both men and women (the mechanism is central, not hormonal). A 10mg vial gives you roughly 8-10 uses at 1mg.

My partner and I both use it. 1mg for him, 0.75mg for me. Take it about 3 hours ahead. The nausea was only bad the first time — now it's just mild queasiness for 20 mins. Effects are very real and long-lasting. Start lower than you think you need.

One tip — don't take it on an empty stomach. A light meal about an hour before significantly reduces the nausea. Also, the first time tends to be the strongest response. Subsequent uses are more predictable.

Hey Chris,

Great questions about PT-141! It's definitely one of those peptides where personal experiences can vary, so here's some guidance to help you and your partner get started.

Starting dose is key. Most folks seem to find 1mg a sweet spot to start with, though some prefer starting even lower at 0.5mg to gauge their tolerance, especially if they're concerned about side effects. Timing-wise, taking PT-141 around 3-4 hours before you’d like the effects is generally recommended. This gives it ample time to kick in, and the effects can last up to 24 hours for many people.

Nausea is a common concern. Like what others have shared, it's often related to dosing. Starting on the lower end and having a light meal beforehand can help manage any queasiness. And yes, PT-141 is designed to work for both men and women since its mechanism is central, rather than hormonal. As Dan pointed out, a 10mg vial typically offers about 8-10 uses at the 1mg dosage.

Let us know how it goes for you both!
