As someone who practices Ayurvedic medicine, I was skeptical about using peptides. But after reading the research on Selank's anxiolytic effects via GABA modulation, I decided to try it for my own social anxiety.

Background: I've had mild-moderate social anxiety for years. Public speaking, networking events, even crowded markets would trigger it. I've tried ashwagandha, L-theanine, and meditation — all help but none resolved it.

Protocol: Selank 300mcg intranasal, once daily in the morning, for 3 weeks

Week 1: Subtle calm. Not sedated, just... less reactive to stressful situations. A difficult client interaction that would normally spike my heart rate just... didn't.

Week 2: Went to a networking event in Ubud. Normally I'd arrive anxious and leave early. I stayed the whole time, initiated conversations, and actually enjoyed myself. This was the "aha" moment.

Week 3: The effect feels natural now. I'm not anxious about being anxious anymore, if that makes sense. My baseline state has shifted.

Side effects: None. Zero sedation, no cognitive dulling, no dependency feeling on days off.

What I love about Selank vs benzodiazepines: it modulates anxiety without impairing you. You still feel sharp, present, and like yourself. Just... calmer.

I'm now recommending it to appropriate clients alongside traditional approaches.

Beautiful write-up Priya. The GABA modulation mechanism is what makes Selank special — it enhances GABAergic signaling without the sedation or dependency of benzodiazepines. I use it extensively with anxious clients. The intranasal route is ideal for rapid onset.

I switched to Selank from Semax specifically for the anxiolytic effect. As someone with mild social anxiety who also needs focus, Selank is the perfect balance — calm but sharp. It's become my daily driver.

Love hearing a practitioner's personal experience. I've been curious about Selank for the hormonal anxiety I get around my cycle. The fact that it doesn't sedate is really important — I can't afford to be foggy during Pilates classes.

Selank is one of the most underappreciated peptides. The Russian research on it is extensive — it's been used clinically there for years. For anxiety that doesn't respond well to lifestyle interventions alone, it's an excellent adjunct. And as you noted, zero dependency risk.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Priya! It's great to hear how Selank has made such a positive impact on your social anxiety — and from a practitioner's perspective, no less. Your journey with it highlights how it can be an effective and gentle option for those struggling with anxiety-related challenges.

We love how you've described the shift in your baseline state. Being able to feel "calm but still yourself" is a game-changer, especially in situations like networking events where authenticity is key. The absence of sedation or cognitive dulling makes Selank stand out compared to traditional anxiolytics like benzodiazepines.

It's also wonderful that you're considering recommending it to your clients alongside Ayurvedic practices. Combining modern peptide therapy with traditional approaches can offer a holistic path to wellness.
